We want you to re-create our literacy-building activities in your community! Try this simple craft that will get your campers imaginations, and ambitions, flowing - all while utilizing some of their growing vocabulary, of course!
Cereal box for each camper
Cotton balls and other craft material
Before reading the book Amazing Grace, ask the students to think about what they would like to be when they grow up.
After reading the story, students each take a cereal box and decorate it with who and what they would like to be when they grow up.
Part of the decoration should illustrate them in their professional outfit.
Add the business name or job. Each camper gets a turn to share!
